*I was given a copy of this book for an honest review.*
I know without a doubt I’m going to love anything written by Lisa Henry and this book with co-author, Sarah Honey, is no exception.
Great characters are what makes books by these authors so fab. Briar is spiky, yet vulnerable and Casey is just plain nice but not boring. The other guys in the fraternity were a great mix of characters too and I would really like to read the stories about them, they are definitely on my tbr list. I loved Charlie!
Whilst I loved the characters and the storyline was good, this was not quite a 4+ star read for me.
I did feel as though I wanted a bit more. A slower burn, more resistance, more conflict, more…just more. I’m greedy, I know. I felt that the dickhead that was Evan was a storyline that didn’t really go anywhere. Maybe his will be a future story.
All that said, greedy reader aside, I completely recommend reading this book because it’s a lovely read. It just is. A hot chocolate and slippers story. Maybe there’s a little rum in that hot chocolate, comfy but not boring.
